In this section, you have to focus on the issues that led to the violations and infringement. It can be internal and external. 

Internal Issue:

  • –Improper Training
  • –Listed by the employee who was not trained with amazon policies
  • –Inadequate knowledge of Amazon Policies
  • –Less number of staff to handle massive orders

External Issue:

–Unverified Supplier 

–No Approval from right owner 

–Logistics Issue (For e,g, Late Delivery of the Product by the logistics due to staff issue)

  • Write in Chronological Order 
  • Straight to the point
  • Assume yourself as a seller performance team member who don’t have any knowledge of your case and write root cause accordingly so every new member will get an idea about the issue.

  • You shall mention the things that you have done to resolve the root cause. Kindly note that the future actions that you will take after getting the account reinstated shall not find place in this section. 
  • You have to be practical about what you are writing in this section. Write the things or statements that are relevant to the root cause.  

Correct statements: 

  • We have deleted all the ASINs xxxx which were under infringement.
  • We have removed all the damaged inventory
  • We have inspected our warehouse and have done pest control in order to remove dust and insects which may cause further damage to our products

Incorrect Stataments:

What is “The Preventive Actions that you have taken to resolve the issue” for Amazon Seller Account Suspension Plan of Action (POA)?

Now comes the last and most important part Preventive Actions. “It does not mean the actions you will take in future instead it means the actions you have taken to prevent it going forward”. Amazon wants to hear how you are going to prevent similar violations in future and how you are eradicating all the errors which you had in previous business model.

  • Generic Statement as this is the most important section in whole Plan of Action(POA)
  • Personal Details of Employees (You can mention details of lawyers and their firms so that amazon can cross verify it)
  • Grammar Mistakes

It is always best to write your PLAN OF ACTION (POA) on your own after reviewing your business model.
